GENERAL COMMENTS: Strozzi MSS. W. b. 132 vols. 1-10 Alessandro Tassoni (1565-1635). Annali ecclesiastici. The original numeration of these MSS indicates that the present ten volumes are part of a twelve-volume set, volumes 1 and 2 being absent, as they were in 1728 when the Bagnolo-Forano Indice was compiled. At the end of volume 10 is the legend, “Il fine del tomo duodecimo,” -- which does not necessarily mean the end of the work.
